Inspired by the symmetry of cosmic string theory, this dimmable chandelier is designed in a six-pointed star shape.

Comprised of 80 eco-conscious low-wattage incandescent bulbs evocative of point-like particles and connected by white aluminum joints, it utilizes a tension/compression design based on the same principle as a suspension bridge. Designed and created by Patrick Townsend in his Long Island City studio.
