Candleholder Dinner Plate

John Derian teamed up with Astier de Villatte to add his iconic imagery to their classic white tableware. The 19th-century inspired patterns and images perfectly complement the handmade ceramics. Hand molded from black terracotta, each piece is finished in a milky-white glaze that highlights the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. The origin of this image is "The Instructive Picture Book” edited by Adam White and Robert M. Stark, Scotland, 1857.
