Description

Hand-loomed carpet is woven on a handmade loom using vertical warp yarns running the length of the carpet. The weft yarn runs the width of the carpet in a shuttle, creating the structure and pattern. Hand-loom weavers can create cut or loop pile carpets, flatweave carpets, and a variety of unique textures.
