As with the Tarte Tatin* in the culinary firmament, our Demijohn pendant is one of those happy accidents. It was never meant to be quite this shape but when the glass blower first showed it to us, we looked at it and went “hang on a moment...that’s brilliant!”...and a couple of years later it firmly falls into our best seller category.

* it was intended to be a traditional apple pie, but the Chef at the Hotel Tatin was pushed for time, left the apples in the oven too long, and then served it upside down...and the rest...dear reader...is...
