Kerman

Persian rugs from a city in south central Iran, Kerman rugs vary in color from compositions in ivory, blue, and magenta, to those in gold and saffron. Kerman carpets of the Lavar type are known for the fineness of their weave and for their classical designs, fashioned in both allover and central medallion formats. They range in size and the foundation is often cotton.
