Sarouk

Produced in the Arak region in Iran, Sarouk rugs feature classic curvilinear vine scrolls and arabesques in cream, indigo, or pale red. Local floral motifs represent the diversity of regional carpet-weaving traditions. Sarouk rugs are crafted in soft, velvety wool and fairly thick pile with an asymmetrical knot on a cotton ground.
