Woven on jacquard looms, Wilton carpets are created by pulling the color needed to the front and creating a loop out of it. With this great design flexibility, three to five colors can be used in a single row depending on the specifics of the loom while the remaining colors stay buried in the background unseen. This revolutionary technique allows for intricate pattern detail and versatility of color. Various pile heights are created with the use of wires. Level loop, multi-level loop, cut-pile, and cut and loop carpets are all possible with Wilton construction.
