This luxury rug's Eastern origin influences the elevated effects of the two center medallions and classic architectural motifs of scrolls and Greek key meanders around the intricate border.

Despite the decline of Khotan’s rug-weaving industry, the vintage rugs produced along the Silk Road continue to be adored for their intricate designs and rare motifs.
