Handwoven in Uzbekistan using a Turkish knot, the central diamond motif stands out in a muted mossy-green color, striations of ivory and rich espresso emerge around it. Inspired by the designs of Oushak and Khotan rugs, yet unanchored to a legacy of tradition, the weavers re-imagine and reinterpret the motifs, translating the patterns with an intriguing, free-spirited aesthetic.
