Black Friday Lighting Sale

Black Friday Lighting on Sale

During our black friday lighting sale, a selection of fixtures across the collection is offered at promotional prices, shown alongside their regular price where applicable. Black friday lighting spans a range of fixture types and finishes, from single accent lamps to statement chandeliers suited to bigger rooms. Because this is a seasonal event, availability can shift as popular finishes and fixture types sell through, so the current selection may differ from what was available earlier in the sale. Alongside fixtures, a related black friday lamp sale on table and floor lamps is sometimes included, so it's worth browsing the full selection rather than one category alone.

Best Black Friday Lighting Deals

A steep discount is only part of the picture when weighing a black friday lighting deal. The fixtures offering the best long-term value tend to combine a fair price with the right size, materials and bulb compatibility for the room they're going into, rather than simply carrying the largest percentage off.

What Makes a Black Friday Lighting Deal Worth Considering?

Start by comparing the sale price to the regular price, but don't stop there. A fixture's scale should match the room it's meant to serve, since an oversized chandelier or an undersized floor lamp rarely pays off regardless of the discount. Materials and finish affect how a fixture performs and ages: solid brass and iron typically hold their finish longer than plated metals, which can wear with handling over time. Bulb compatibility matters too, since some fixtures require specific bulb shapes, dimmer compatibility or smart-home support. Finally, weigh style suitability alongside price. A fixture that doesn't fit the room's scale or aesthetic offers little long-term value, no matter how large the discount appears.

Lighting Specials for Black Friday

Beyond the main sale, select collections may carry additional seasonal pricing as part of our black friday lighting and fixtures deals. These specials can apply to specific fixture types, finishes or brands rather than the collection as a whole, and availability is often limited to current stock. Promotional terms, including the length of a given offer, may vary by collection and can change without notice. It's worth checking back throughout the sale period, since specials on individual lamps and chandeliers may be added or updated.

Black Friday Lighting Shopping Guide

Choosing lighting during a sale works best when you approach it the same way you would at any other time of year. The steps below walk through the practical decisions that matter most before adding a fixture to your cart.

Measure Your Space and Ceiling Height

Before browsing fixtures, measure the room and note the ceiling height, since a chandelier or pendant needs enough clearance to hang without crowding the space below it. For table and floor lamps, check the surface or floor area available, including nearby outlets. As a general guide, leave enough clearance around a fixture so it doesn't feel out of scale once installed.

Decide on Fixture Type

Fixture type shapes everything else about a lighting purchase. A chandelier or pendant anchors a dining room or entryway, while wall sconces free up surface space in hallways or bedrooms. A table lamp adds task lighting to a nightstand or desk, and a floor lamp fills in ambient or reading light where an outlet allows. Deciding on fixture type first makes it easier to narrow size and style later.

Choose the Right Scale and Brightness

Fixture scale should follow the room rather than the other way around. A chandelier is typically sized to roughly half to two-thirds the width of a dining table, and a floor lamp should sit at a height that clears the arm of a nearby sofa or chair. Brightness matters too, measured in lumens rather than watts, since a fixture that's too dim or too bright can throw off an otherwise well-planned room.

Compare Materials and Finishes

Material and finish affect how a fixture looks and wears over time. Brass, iron and other solid metals typically hold their finish better than plated alternatives, which can show wear with handling or humidity. Glass and crystal accents add sparkle but require more careful cleaning than metal or fabric shades. Consider how the fixture will actually be used, since a formal dining chandelier can prioritize appearance over the durability a busy entryway fixture needs.

Consider Style and Bulb Compatibility

Style choices work best when they respond to what's already in the room. Look at existing fixtures, hardware finishes and furniture nearby, then decide whether a new piece should match or intentionally contrast. Beyond looks, check bulb compatibility and dimmer support before buying, since not every fixture accepts every bulb shape or smart-home control, and mismatched hardware is an easy detail to overlook until installation.

Plan for Installation and Wiring

Some fixtures are simple plug-in pieces, while others, like chandeliers, pendants and hardwired sconces, require an electrician or existing wiring to install safely. Check whether a fixture is plug-in or hardwired before buying, particularly for chandeliers and pendants replacing existing wiring. If a piece needs professional installation, factor that time and cost into your overall budget before committing to a purchase.

Find a Lighting Style That Fits Your Home

Style is often the deciding factor once fixture type and budget are settled. These five directions cover a range of aesthetics, from clean and contemporary to warm and traditional, so you can browse by the look you have in mind.

Modern & Contemporary

Modern and contemporary lighting favors clean lines and geometric shapes, often in matte black or brushed metal finishes. It suits streamlined interiors where the fixture reinforces the room's architecture rather than competing with it.

Industrial

Industrial lighting draws on raw metal, exposed bulbs and utilitarian silhouettes, adding an edgy, warehouse-inspired character to a room built around reclaimed wood or metal accents.

Traditional & Ornate

Traditional and ornate lighting, including crystal and candelabra-style chandeliers, leans on detailed metalwork and richer finishes, adding a sense of formality to a classically furnished room.

Mid-Century Modern

Mid-century modern lighting pairs tapered wood or brass bases with globe or drum shades, bringing a retro-inspired warmth to contemporary and eclectic living rooms alike.

Coastal & Casual

Coastal and casual lighting favors light woods, woven shades and soft, breathable finishes, creating an easy, laid-back feel suited to sunrooms and relaxed living spaces.

Black Friday Lighting for Every Room

Lighting needs shift depending on the room, shaped by layout, daily use and how much natural light a space already gets. Here's what to keep in mind for each room below.

Living Room Lighting

A living room typically layers a few sources — a floor lamp for reading, table lamps on side tables and an overhead fixture for general light. Pair the mix with pieces from our Black Friday Decor Sale to finish the look.

Bedroom Lighting

Bedroom lighting usually centers on table lamps at the nightstand, sized to sit at a comfortable reading height beside the bed. A dimmable option makes it easier to shift from bright morning light to a softer evening mood.

Dining Room Lighting

Dining rooms are one of the few rooms built around a single statement fixture, typically a chandelier or pendant sized to the table beneath it. Pair it with a dining set from our Black Friday Furniture Sale for a coordinated look.

Entryway & Hallway Lighting

Entryways and hallways are usually transitional spaces without room for floor lamps, so wall sconces or portable, cordless lighting do the work instead. These fixtures free up floor space while still giving the area enough light to feel welcoming rather than dim.

What Lighting Is Usually on Sale on Black Friday?

Black Friday lighting promotions typically span the same broad categories carried throughout the year: table and floor lamps, chandeliers and pendants, and wall sconces. Rather than being limited to one category, black friday light fixtures usually span a mix of styles, from modern and industrial to traditional and mid-century, across a range of finishes suited to different rooms. In practice, that means shoppers looking for black friday lighting deals in a specific room, whether it's a bedside lamp, a dining room chandelier or an entryway sconce, can generally find something included, though the specific pieces and finishes on sale will vary as inventory changes throughout the event.

Black Friday Lighting Clearance & Holiday Lighting Options

If you're browsing more broadly for lamp clearance sales or an ongoing chandeliers clearance sale, our lighting selection covers similar territory: marked-down fixtures sold alongside our regular collection. Some pieces may carry clearance pricing due to limited stock or discontinued finishes rather than a seasonal promotion. Shoppers looking specifically for holiday string lights or christmas lights black friday sale pricing should note that seasonal decor lighting is a separate category from the fixtures featured here. Either way, checking finish and bulb compatibility matters just as much for a clearance find as for a full-price fixture.
