Black Friday Rug Sale

Black Friday Rugs on Sale

During our black friday rug sale, a selection of rugs across the collection is offered at promotional prices, shown alongside their regular price where applicable. Black friday rugs on sale span a range of sizes and designs, from compact accent pieces to large-format rugs suited to bigger rooms. Because this is a seasonal event, availability can shift as popular sizes and colors sell through, so the current selection may differ from what was available earlier in the sale. The black friday rug sale also spans several styles and room applications, so you can compare options suited to a living room, bedroom, entryway or dining space in one place.

Best Black Friday Rug Deals

A steep discount is only part of the picture when weighing a black friday rug deal. The rugs offering the best long-term value tend to combine a fair price with the right size, construction and design for the space they're going into, rather than simply carrying the largest percentage off.

What Makes a Black Friday Rug Deal Worth Considering?

Start by comparing the sale price to the regular price, but don't stop there. A rug's size should match the room and furniture it's meant to serve, since an ill-fitting size rarely pays off regardless of the discount. Material and construction affect how a rug performs day to day: hand-knotted wool holds up differently than a machine-made blend, and denser construction generally means better durability under foot traffic. Maintenance matters too, particularly for households with pets, children or high-use rooms. Finally, weigh design suitability alongside price. A rug that doesn't fit the room's style or scale offers little long-term value, no matter how large the discount appears.

Rug Specials for Black Friday

Beyond the main sale, select rug collections may carry additional seasonal pricing as part of our black friday specials. These specials can apply to specific product lines, sizes or styles rather than the collection as a whole, and availability is often limited to current stock. Promotional terms, including the length of a given offer, may vary by collection and can change without notice. It's worth checking back throughout the sale period, since specials on individual pieces may be added or updated.

Black Friday Rug Shopping Guide

Choosing a rug during a sale works best when you approach it the same way you would at any other time of year. The steps below walk through the practical decisions that matter most before adding a rug to your cart.

Measure Your Space

Before browsing sizes, measure the floor space where the rug will sit, including the furniture it needs to work around. Note the dimensions of any sofa, bed or dining table, since the rug's proportions should relate to those pieces rather than the room alone. As a general guide, leave enough clearance around the edges so the rug doesn't look undersized once furniture is back in place.

Decide Where the Rug Will Be Used

Where a rug will live changes what to prioritize. A living room rug typically needs to handle regular foot traffic and anchor a seating area, while a bedroom rug is more about comfort underfoot. Dining rooms call for a rug that can withstand chair movement, and entryways or kitchens see the heaviest daily use. Thinking through the room's traffic level early makes it easier to narrow both size and material later.

Choose the Right Rug Size

Rug size should follow the layout of the room rather than the other way around. In a seating arrangement, front furniture legs are typically placed on the rug to tie the grouping together. For a dining table, the rug should be large enough that chairs stay on it even when pulled out. In a bedroom, sizing depends on whether the rug sits under the bed or only frames it, rather than on price alone.

Compare Materials and Construction

Material has the biggest effect on how a rug feels and performs. Wool offers durability and a natural feel underfoot, while silk blends bring a more lustrous finish, often at the cost of some durability. Construction matters just as much as fiber: hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs behave differently over time than machine-made pieces. A formal living room piece can prioritize appearance, while a hallway or kitchen rug needs more wear resistance.

Consider Style, Color and Pattern

Style choices work best when they respond to what's already in the room. Look at existing furniture and the wall or floor tones nearby, then decide whether the rug should blend in or stand out as a focal point. A bold pattern can energize a neutral room, while a solid or subtly textured rug helps balance a space that already has a lot of pattern or color elsewhere.

Consider Maintenance and Long-Term Value

Cleaning requirements vary widely by material and construction, so it's worth thinking about upkeep before buying. Rooms with heavy everyday use, pets or young children generally call for a rug that's easier to clean and more forgiving of spills and wear. A well-made rug in a suitable material can last for years even under regular foot traffic, which is ultimately where its long-term value comes from.

Find a Rug Style That Fits Your Home

Style is often the deciding factor once size and budget are settled. These five directions cover a range of aesthetics, from clean and modern to richly patterned and traditional, so you can browse by the look you have in mind.

Contemporary & Modern

Contemporary and modern rugs use abstract, geometric and minimalist patterns, well suited to clean-lined interiors and streamlined furniture.

Traditional

Traditional rugs draw on timeless motifs from Persian, Oriental and classical European styles, often featuring intricate florals or medallions.

Transitional

Transitional rugs blend modern and traditional elements for versatile styling, adding a modern feel to a classic room or warming up a more minimalist space.

Moroccan

Moroccan rugs draw on traditional patterns with plush texture and simple geometric motifs, commonly used to add a bohemian touch to a room.

Vintage & Antique

Vintage and antique rugs are sourced from around the world or handcrafted by artisans over a century ago, bringing rich cultural history and elegance to a room. Browse vintage rugs or antique rugs individually to see the full range of each.

Black Friday Rugs for Every Room

Rug requirements shift from room to room, shaped by furniture layout, foot traffic and how the space gets used day to day. Here's what to keep in mind for each.

Living Room Rugs

In a living room, the rug typically needs to work with a sofa or sectional from our Black Friday Sofa Sale, anchoring the seating area rather than sitting awkwardly beneath it.

Bedroom Rugs

Bedroom rugs are placed with the bed in mind, whether that means a rug extending from all sides or two smaller runners along each side of the bed. Layer in a throw or pillow from our Black Friday Decor Sale to finish the room.

Dining Room Rugs

Dining room rugs need to be sized to the table rather than the room, large enough that chairs stay on it even when pulled out for guests. Pair it with a dining set from our Black Friday Furniture Sale.

Entryway & Kitchen Rugs

Entryways and kitchens see some of the heaviest daily use in a home, from foot traffic and weather to spills and dropped ingredients. A wall sconce from our Black Friday Lighting Sale is a practical pairing in a tight entryway where floor space is limited.

What Rugs Are Usually on Sale on Black Friday?

Black Friday rug promotions typically span the same broad categories carried throughout the year: area rugs, runners, small rugs and oversized statement pieces. Rather than being limited to one type, the sale usually touches a mix of design styles, from contemporary and transitional to more traditional and vintage-inspired patterns, across a range of sizes suited to different rooms. In practice, that means shoppers looking for a living room centerpiece, a hallway runner or a small entryway accent can generally all find something included, though the specific pieces and sizes on sale will vary as inventory changes throughout the event.

Black Friday Sale Carpet & Rug Options

For those searching more broadly for a black friday sale carpet, our rug collection covers the same territory: decorative floor coverings suited to a range of rooms, from living spaces to bedrooms and hallways. Beyond function, rugs add comfort underfoot and visual character to a room, and our seasonal selection includes a variety of sizes and design approaches to suit different tastes. As with the rest of the sale, this seasonal availability is tied to current stock and may change as the event continues.
