- Care instructions Before using for the first time, wipe the surface with a moistened cloth with oil or water. Do not place it in direct contact with the flame. Any imperfections are due to the dry cutting of the block. The plate remains hot for the time necessary to cook (about 20 minutes). To optimize this, do not put frozen foods on the hot block. Do not put the block underwater while hot. Cracks and discoloration are natural over time and do not compromise their use.
